Meiji University Library's rare book and historical map collection includes the Ashida Collection, the Nakamura Hiroshi Collection, and the Iwata Hōju Collection.
Ashida Koreto (1877-1960) was a historical geographer, Nakamura Hiroshi (1891-1974) was a medical doctor and researcher of historical maps, and Iwata Hōju (1904-1990) was a map collector known for his research on Edo city maps. This exhibition will feature 55 items, mainly from the Ashida Collection, with some
from a private collection.
